Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you provide?

Our office specializes in affordable replacement of missing teeth with mini and mono dental implants, whether it be single teeth, multiple teeth, or all of your teeth. We do all treatments related to implants, including implant dentures, implant crowns, and implant bridges. We also do extractions, bone grafts, and immediate placement of implants following extraction (not always possible).

We also do our "ALL- ON - 8" procedure where we place 8-10 mono implants and then porcelain teeth are cemented on the implants. This is as close as you can get to having teeth again, and has many advantages over the "All on 4" procedure advertised by those big corporate chains. As part of your total implant treatment plan, we will also do other procedures like fillings and crowns.

Do you see children?

We do not see children.

How long have you been in practice?

I have been a practicing clinical dentist for over 35 years.

How long have you been placing mini dental implants?

I started placing mini implants in 2012

How long have mini implants been around?

Mini implants have been around for 25 years, but they have only gained popularity in the last 5 years.

What is the success rate for mini dental implants?

Mini implants are comparable to conventional implants with a success rate of 90-95% depending on factors such as your bone health, overall health, location in the mouth, and how much bone is left.

Do you only do mini implants?

We do mini implants and mono implants. They both give us significant advantages over "conventional" implants, and allow us to provide a full range of implant treatment for any situation. We will recommend which ever one would work best in your situation.

Do You Take Insurance?

We require payment in full when we start treatment by cash, check, credit card, or financing, and we will file your insurance for you and any insurance benefits will go directly to you.

***Because of our lower fees, patients usually pay less out of pocket for treatment in our office compared to a "preferred provider" office.

***  Many patients find that it makes sense for them to pay for our implant treatment, and then use insurance benefits for other dental work they may need, cleanings, etc. especially consider many insurance plans do not cover implants anyway.

Will my health insurance cover anything?

No

Will my Medicare insurance cover anything?

In general those plans pay minimal to nothing.

Do you offer payment plans?

We have several finance companies that we work with to provide low monthly payments for you. Qualifying is as simple as filling out a quick form for instant approval, and this inquiry will not show up on your credit report.

What technologies do you use?

We use high tech equipment to provide you with cutting edge care. We have a state of the art Cone Beam X-ray which allows us to get a 3 dimensional picture of your jaw bones.

What is "GUIDED IMPLANT PLACEMENT?"

We use our state of the art cone beam X-ray, combined with models of your mouth to plan your entire case before we do anything. The scans are sent to our specially chosen laboratory and together we will plan your case and create a computer model of exactly where we want the implants to be, and then construct a surgical guide for placement of the implants. What this all means is that we have complete control of the implant placement, and the final teeth using the best technologies available today
