Germantown Mini Implant Center
(how we provide high quality dental care at lower fees)
Some patients have asked if my fees were too good to be true, and wondering if I cut corners on the quality, and so let me just tell you that...
But obviously we do things differently because if I had the same kind of practice as everyone else, I would need to charge like everyone else.
Along with that, we our best to make your implant treatment as affordable as possible. And there are some very specific ways we are able to do that.
You may not know it, but big corporate dental clinics are taking over. They are buying up local dental clinics, and turning them into corporate juggernauts.
And they affiliate with all the various dental insurance plans, PPOs, and HMOs, and the way they make it work is by running through the highest volume of patients they can. That’s corporate dentistry.
When I created the Mini Implant Center and decided to make it my mission to provide more affordable implant treatment, I wanted my clinic to be "new school" in a lot of ways with all the latest greatest technology - but at the same time I also wanted it to be old school in the way we treat people.
In other words, we treat you like a person, not a widget.
That's why I don’t see people in multiple treatment rooms and run room to room like a nut. I work in one treatment room and that’s it. In fact, I only have one treatment room.
So when you come to see me, typically you are the only patient in my office. And I’m not going to lock you in a room and beat you over the head to get you to accept treatment, as in the stories I hear from some patients who come to see me from the big clinics.
The way we get by with one dental assistant is that we only treat one patient at a time. We do not run from room to room, jamming in people all over. When you have an appointment with me, you have my full attention. And just so you know, I don't work this way simply to save expenses. I do it because that is how I like to work. I believe in personalized care and treating people like people, not like numbers.
Conventional dental implants are complicated. There are multiple parts and pieces, and everything is expensive - including the lab costs.
We use mini and mono implants which are one piece implants. That means there is only the implant itself and no other parts needed. Everything is simpler and less expensive.
For example, when you schedule a consult, the process is 100% automated. You book your consult from our website live into our schedule, and our computer will automatically confirm your appointment by text and even send you appointment reminders. There is no human involvement needed in the process. No one is going to call you. My assistant has no time involved.
Most dental offices have a very expensive computer system with workstations all over the place. That system is very expensive to buy, and it comes with high monthly IT costs.
Guess what I have? An iPad. That’s it. I have a fantastic cloud based software to run everything. This means my assistant and I can run my office completely with just an iPad and a smart phone.
We minimize billing expenses because, well, there is no billing. Because again, that costs time and money. I don’t pay someone to process, and print, and mail statements, and then call patients about their payments, etc.
What happens instead is that you and I will come up with a treatment plan that works for you, you pay for it, and then we will start treatment and do it as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
If you need monthly financing we have outside financing companies that will do that.
If you have insurance let me just say that we are not a PPO provider for any plans BUT many patients find that because of our reduced fee, they end up paying less out of pocket for treatment in our office compared to a PPO office anyway.
Basically instead of giving the insurance companies a big discount, we give it to you instead.
So that's how I practice. I have a small relaxed office, a small staff, I see one patient at a time. We minimize our expenses and pass the savings on to you.
Thats how you get high tech, high quality implant treatment, but with drastically reduced fees.
